Need cheap iPod speakers?
The Herberger's Midway store on St. Paul's University Avenue has compact Emerson Research portable speakers with an iPod dock and an AM/FM radio. These run on batteries and wall juice, have an built-in carrying handle, and sound pretty good for $50.
That's not a bad price for what you get (including an alarm clock) compared to what I've seen in other retail stores, such as Target (though these speakers are also available on Target.com).
Herberger's had lots of these last time I checked, which wasn't the case here and here.
