Video: Best Buy explains the digital-TV shift

I wince every time Best Buy offers a "BlueShirt" as a potential interview subject. I mean, should I care as much about what a tech source is wearing as what expertise he or she brings to the table (and my stories)?

But a couple of BlueShirts (along with a couple of their Geek Squad cousins) did a nice job with a set of videos (one in English, the other en español) explaining the coming digital-TV transition -- and what consumers should do to prepare.

The videos are far more informational than promotional, so I'm putting them up on my podcast feed for your download pleasure. Here's the English one. See also the Spanish version (too bad Miss BlueShirt in that video sounds a bit like she's gargling).

Best Buy, by the way, provided the Insignia-brand converter box I used in testing for my last Tech Test Drive column. It worked flawlessly for me, and I like it a lot.
